Established in 2017 and headquartered in Bangalore, India, The Able Mind [a brand owned by DeStress Holistic Health Pvt. Ltd.] is a platform that facilitates and supports clients across the globe, with proactive & positive mental health support services online. They are a healthcare start-up certified, in March 2022, by the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India.

The Founders Rohini and Rajeev have always been in awe of the incredible potential of the human mind to grow and improve continuously. They have consistently re-imagined mental health care as a proactive effort that combines irreplaceable human expertise and compassion with the best of technology as a way to reach out to people and prevent them from feeling despondent… ( and why not? Isn't prevention always considered to be better than cure?). They have built a stellar team of psychologists, counselors, psychiatric social workers, mental health advocates all of whom are passionate about proactive and positive psychological practices, collaborative care and holistic health, bringing to the table their vast experiences across various domains.

Rohini Kesavan Rajeev 

Founder & Chief Practice Officer, The Able Mind 

Rohini has over two decades of experience in the field of professional mental health as a psychotherapist, marriage counsellor & mental wellness coach; she is an international affiliate member of the American Psychological Association, sits on the board of management of India’s first NGO- Medico Pastoral Association and is currently also pursuing her PhD. 

Rajeev Vijayan 

Co Founder and CEO, The Able Mind 

Rajeev has a rich experience of over 24+years in IT, working with global companies in leadership roles ; leading highly successful businesses and delivering technology implementation for Fortune 500 customers across the world. While working with government clients he developed solutions used by citizens across the world all the while thinking about how he could make a difference and enrich the lives of all Indians who deal with daily stressors in their personal and professional lives.
